Tray Drier

A Tray Drier is an industrial drying system designed to remove moisture from materials, products, and components using controlled heat and forced air circulation. The materials to be dried are placed on multiple trays, which are stacked in a drying chamber. Heated air circulates uniformly through the chamber, ensuring consistent drying of all materials.

Tray Driers are widely used in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food processing, textiles, ceramics, and herbal product industries. They are essential for drying raw materials, powders, granules, fruits, vegetables, and other moisture-sensitive materials. Tray driers are available in multiple capacities and can be customized to meet specific production and drying requirements.

Key Features

Multiple Tray Capacity:

From 12 to 192 trays, allowing for high-capacity drying.

Temperature Control:

Precise control from 40°C to 300°C with high accuracy.

Energy-Efficient Design:

Advanced insulation and optimized airflow reduce energy consumption.

Customizable Tray Design:

Stainless steel or perforated trays for specific material drying needs.

Digital Control System:

Thyristorized PID controller, PLC-based touchscreen HMI for controlling temperature, airflow, and drying time.

Forced Air Circulation:

Uniform airflow for even drying across all trays.

Construction Materials:

Stainless steel (SS 304/SS 316) interior and powder-coated steel or stainless steel exterior for corrosion resistance.

Easy Maintenance:

Removable trays and filters for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Safety Systems:

Over-temperature protection, emergency stop, and air circulation alarms.

Compliance with Industry Standards:

Complies with ISO 9001:2015, CE, NABL and other industry standards

Applications

Pharmaceuticals:

Drying granules, powders, and tablets for production and research purposes.

Food Industry:

Drying fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs, nuts, and ready-to-eat products.

Chemicals:

Drying chemicals, powders, and active ingredients for chemical processing.

Herbal Industry:

Drying leaves, flowers, and herbal extracts used in herbal medicines and supplements.

Textiles:

Drying fabrics, textiles, and dye-based materials after processing.

Ceramics:

Drying ceramic molds, tiles, and clay products before firing.

Agricultural Products:

Drying seeds, grains, pulses, and animal feed for long-term storage.

How a Tray Drier Works

Loading:

Materials are placed on the trays, which are loaded into the drying chamber.

Heating:

The chamber is heated using an electric heater, steam, or gas-based heating system.

Air Circulation:

Heated air circulates through the chamber using powerful fans. The forced airflow ensures uniform drying of all materials on each tray.

Moisture Removal:

The moisture is evaporated from the product and vented out through the exhaust.

Cooling:

The chamber is cooled, and dried products are removed from the trays.
